The Flame Within
Deep within each of us lies an ember, a tiny spark waiting to burst into a roaring flame. It’s called motivation and it propels us to reach for the stars, to push past limitations, and to dare greatly. Often life’s challenges…the hurts and disappointments, and the weight of a regular comfortable routine dim that flame. Well today, I’m asking you to rekindle it. Think about that thing that you’ve always wanted to do and fan that tiny spark into a blazing inferno and watch as it fuels your determination to make your dreams a reality.
Embrace Your Why
Motivation flourishes when anchored in purpose. This is what helps you get up when you fall down and to fight on when you want to just quit. Take a moment to reflect on your deepest desires; those dreams that tug at your heartstrings. What is your “Why”? What is it that would make you want to get out of bed each morning? Next ask yourself “Why Not You”? So many times we think someone else is supposed to do the thing we’re dreaming of doing. But have you stopped to ponder why YOU have the dream or vision? Embrace your purpose. Let it be the foundation upon which your motivation stands tall. Let it guide you through the darkest nights and propel you towards the light of your dreams.
Fuel Your Passion
Passion is the lifeblood of motivation. What ignites your soul? What makes your heart race and fills you with uncontainable energy? Identify your passions, for they hold the key to unlocking your motivation. Immerse yourself in activities that bring you joy and align with your dreams. Surround yourself with people who share your passion and lift you higher. Let your passion fuel the fire within you, driving you relentlessly towards that dream. And when you find yourself waning, hopeless, doubtful, or even despondent, go back to your why and embrace it again.
Believe in Yourself:
Often, we are our own worst critic. I mean there’s nobody that can tear us down faster than good ol’ “SELF CRITICISM”. Banish self-doubt, for it is the enemy of motivation. You are capable of extraordinary things. Believe it with every fiber of your being. Cultivate unwavering self-belief, knowing that you possess the unique talents and abilities to conquer any obstacle. Embrace failure as a steppingstone towards growth, and never let setbacks extinguish your flame. Believe in yourself, and the world will believe in you too because only one percent of people want you to fail and that’s so they can justify why they are not pursuing their dreams. They are the true “Haters”.
Take Bold Action
Once motivation is lit the flame won’t continue to flicker without action. It will simply fade away. So it’s time to take bold, audacious steps towards your dreams. Get out your Dream Journal or your Gratitude Journal Planner and break free from the shackles of comfort and venture into the realm of the unknown. Embrace the discomfort that accompanies growth and let it fuel your determination. Set goals, make plans, and take consistent action. Remember, every small step you take brings you closer to your goal.
